When I was a little girl we used to make Christmas gingerbread houses from scratch with my grandma every year. We always placed a cute Santa by the door, candy canes on the rooftop and bottle brush Christmas trees in the fluffy royal icing lawn. These days I get to experience even more Christmas magic with my own kids, making our own gingerbread houses, decorating the tree, wrapping pretty presents and helping them hang their stockings with care.
