Alaska Quilt Class - Starting March 2026

Alaska Comes to Akron - Make the iconic quilt using Studio 180's Wedge Star

Join us in this class to make our take on the Alaska quilt, originally designed by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts. The fabric layout is modified and an additional pieced border has been added to emphasize the circular design. You'll learn how to used the Studio 180 Wedge Star ruler to accurately cut the wedges and diamonds to create 3 different blocks.

Quilt finishes at 72" square. 

Pattern is included in class fee. Fabric requirements provided in the class supply list - received at checkout.

Fabric pictured is an assortment of batiks.

Please note this class is only being taught using the Wedge Star ruler. The Alaska template ruler will not be accomodated.
