Construction Information

From the East on I-76:

• The ramp from I-76W to I-77S is closed. Instead, take I-76W to exit 22A for Main St. Turn LEFT onto S Main St for about 3 miles. The shop will be on your left. 

 

From the North on OH-8 S:

• At the OH-8 / I-77 / I-76 Interchange in Akron: follow signs to stay onto I-77 S (left lanes). The lanes are being altered on a semi-regular basis, so please watch the signage. 
• I-77 S to US-224/I-277 W ramp is closed through the fall of 2024. The typical detour, I-77 S to Waterloo Rd. is also closed through late August. Alternatives are: 
• Take I-77 S to US-224 E (left exit); stay in the right lane and exit at Kelly Ave. Turn left at the exit and turn left again to get onto US-224 W. Take exit 3 for S. Main St. and turn right. The shop will be over the bridge on your left. 
• Take I-77 S to exit 123B for OH-764/Wilbeth Rd. Turn right onto Wilbeth Rd for about 1 mile. Turn left onto S. Main St. (at Firestone stadium) for just over a mile. The shop will be on your left.
